OUR PROJECT – AN ETHICAL AGROECOLOGICAL RANCH

We want to relocate our family Ranch in Provence, and go always farther in our approach of respecting earth...

WE WANT TO CONTINUE WHAT WE HAVE ALWAYS DONE :

Quarter horses and zebus breeding, western riding courses, training horses, shows and event reception ..

AND WE ALSO HAVE NEW GOALS :

• Horses have always had a social dimension which is emphasized by the professionalization of Marina in equine mediation.  The equicie is particularly aimed at people with physical, mental, sensory and social disabilities. Anyone in temporary distress can also call on the equicie for a supportive helping relationship.

• Converting our zebu farming to ORGANIC: all that will be missing is the formalities, because our breeding practices (natural food,...) perfectly match those listed by ECOCERT for conversion to ORGANIC. We also support LE BOEUF ETHIQUE which works for animal welfare. 

• On the steps of « L'homme qui plantait des arbres » (« The man who planted trees », a book written by Jean Giono, a famous provençal author) : Plant trees on our farm using agroforestry techniques to provide shade (and well-being) to our horses and cattle, which will be at the heart of the project. 

• On the footprints of druggist hawkers of the Montagne de Lure : using natural products, natural care... for our horses and cattle, for us, for the house, the garden, our future accommodations...Seek to limit and offset our ecological print,...

• Touristical attractivity, in a hearty ranch, at human size, where we prioritize quality over quantity. A proximity farm with peasant roots : to favor the local, to promote mutual aid and sharing values of the rural world...Open an immersion and accommodation activity on the farm, favoring eco-construction for our buildings... Strive for an agroecological model on all levels !
